About NetEnt
NetEnt (Net Entertainment) was founded in 1996 in Stockholm, Sweden, and has earned its place as one of the most influential and iconic game studios in the history of online casino gaming. Now part of Evolution AB, NetEnt has built a portfolio that includes some of the most recognizable and widely played slot games ever created. With over 200 global operator partnerships, the NetEnt brand carries a level of recognition and player loyalty that makes it an essential component of any serious online casino offering.
The NetEnt game library reads like a hall of fame of online slot gaming. Starburst, arguably the most famous online slot ever created, continues to attract millions of players more than a decade after its release. Gonzo's Quest pioneered the Avalanche (cascading reels) mechanic that has since been adopted across the industry. Dead or Alive, Divine Fortune, Narcos, and Twin Spin each demonstrate the studio's ability to create games that define genres and set benchmarks for quality. More recent releases like Starburst XXXtreme and Starburst Galaxy show the studio continuing to innovate on its most beloved franchise.
From a technical perspective, NetEnt has consistently been at the forefront of game development technology, being among the first studios to embrace HTML5 and mobile-first design. Their games are renowned for their smooth performance, clean interfaces, and polished audio-visual presentations. The studio holds licenses across multiple jurisdictions including Malta, the UK, and Gibraltar, making their content suitable for deployment in virtually all major regulated markets worldwide.
As part of the Evolution group, NetEnt benefits from the resources and distribution infrastructure of the world's largest live casino company while maintaining the creative independence that has always defined their output. The studio continues to produce new titles and evolve existing franchises, ensuring that the NetEnt brand remains at the cutting edge of online slot development.
